I think to be honest that I've been spending the past several weeks living in the problem, not in the solution.
Sorry my translation is taking so long. Some of these hebrew words are so hard.
If anybody does read hebrew i highly recommend the book its very interesting.
Email rav shlachter hell tell you how to get hold of the book.

hmm... "very interesting"...

if you want help with the translation, let me know

living in the problem and not in the solution...
i think it's all an inyan of perspective

Ok
So I've been thinking alot about something lately. It's a theory I guess. Some might find it obvious.Others will maybe disagree. Here goes though:
Each is us is born with 2 parts to them.
There is the masculine part of us.The leader,do'er,brave, etc.
And there is another part:a more feminine part.
This part of us is sensitive, emotional, giving, etc.
When we felt when we were younger, many of us sensed(subconciously of course) that the pain was coming from this sensitive side of us.
So we closed it up.
And we thought we were just closing up pain.
But we were closing up a whole beautiful side to us.
Doesn't help that also our society is not a fan of this feminine side in men.
When people come ontu this site they feel they can open up the pain. And this whole part of us comes out along with it.It's been waiting to get out for a while.
And that's why we cry.
Our tafkid maybe at this point is to accept this part of ourselves and understand that we have such beauty that we have been hiding for too long.
And the pain will then take on a new perspective.

Again im not a professor,or even a college graduate.this is just a theory i have been developing for a while.its probably not new at all,so sorry if it really is like freud or something.

hope this helps-uri

It's interesting. You'd think it only happens to men, but I know tons of girls that this happens too. Women today's days are also expected not to be so girly and they try to act strong. I personally think that strength is when you can identify your emotions and allow yourself to feel it.
