Yoni, re-the treasure at the end of the forest... Whether we serve Hashem lisheim Shamayim or not, we all know that at the end of the day - the Torah and Mitzvos were given for our benefit... So yes, that is a treasure. Hashem doesn't ask us to serve Him while thinking the Torah and mitzvos are only for HIM and not for us. As the pasuk says... Ma Hashem Sho'el me'imcha ki im Le..... (a whole list of things)... le'Tov Lach. "For your good. "
If we realize it's all "for your good" it makes it much easier.
But that takes Emunah.
So instead of us blaming Hashem for making it hard, we need to ask Him to give us more Emunah .
It's not nearly as hard when the Emunah is in place.

One more point I just want to mention, is that the Torah was given to a "nation". As long as the Jews were lesss than 600,000, they didn't get the Torah. The reason for this is, that Judaism is meant to be practiced within a community setting. Hashem knows how it's almost impossible to keep the mitzvos if we're alone in a spiritual wasteland. It's no wonder it's so difficult for you to keep the Torah and Mitzvos in China, all alone, among goyim. You will see that once you're back in the U.S, and you seek out a Jewish community that you're comfortable in, it will get a lot easier...

Yes, you can have multiple private chats going at once
People can have a 1 on 1 private chat, or a public chat... but there is no way to have 3-4 people privately unless they are in a special chatroom, which we can create for this purpose. For example, we can create a special room called "Dov's Group" where all members of Dov's group would be added into our system and be able to chat there privately. It is similar to the "Married" chatroom, which only married people can chat in.

By the way, have you tried the private chat feature yet? Is anyone having problems with it?
To chat privately with someone, simply list on-line users (right side) and then click a user, then click "send private message"... It opens a new private chat window between you and him...  ;D

Can you explain what the purpose is/why anyone would want to join?

I have never gone on "Chat" site before and I'm not I want to start now

1. To be able to reach out for chizuk in real time (instead of waiting for people to respond to your post)
2. to help us test it  :D
Yoni, if I told you that at the end of a thick forest there was a treasure buried that no one knows about, but you have to go through the dark, thorny, cold forest for a few days to get there, would you be upset at me? No! You'd plow through the forest with joy, knowing what awaits you at the end!

So why are you so upset at G-d? Do you believe that there's a treasure awaiting you at the end? If you do, accept the pains of Yiddishkeit with joy!

And if you'll ask, but WHY did he make a forest in the first place? That we can't answer. But just as you wouldn't be upset at me if I revealed the secret of the hidden treasure to you, in spite of the difficult journey across the forest, so too, you should accept the pains of the journey to the next world - the palace - with joy!

It all boils down to Emunah and priorities. If you truly believed, you would be the happiest man on earth. And if you don't believe enough, that's not G-d's fault, is it?
