I am taking a break from the forum.
It might be for a few days.
It might be for a week,a month,or 2 months.

Im doing this because I have become addicted to the forum. While this is better than some other addictions, I am not so happy with it. I want to try actually living life, and leave this virtual world, as beautiful and as secure as it might be.

I have no hard feelings for anybody.
Quite to the contrary, GYE saved my life, without a doubt.
I have found love and security for the first time in my life.
In the safety zone of that security, I have found a part of myself that I never knew existed.
The appreciation I have for Guard and the rest cannot be put into simple words.

I will not be signing on anymore, so PM'ing me will be futile.
I will still be periodically checking my email, so feel free to email me if you'd like.

i gotta admit, that it has annoyed me in the past when my words gets watered down through editing...i think he's feeling the same way...i mean, i understand this is a private forum and its kosher and all that but a little bit of the first amendment aint that bad....ive pmed kedusha about this problem before...whatever, guard, youve got a balancing act here to maintain, i get that....

Regarding other types of edits, the GYE Forum rules try to strike a balance between freedom of speech (see first sentence of rule #1), adherence to Halacha and decency, and not distracting from GYE's mission.  Complete freedom of expression may be good for the individual, but detrimental for the forum as a whole.
