@Yiftach-absolutely! It would be crucial that the signs/flyers/ads should state clearly the names of the Haskomois.

P.s. I just have a peeve I gotta get out. Why is it that we call those wretched lines without asking for haskomois, but when we are getting helped, all of sudden we become so frum and we need to know if the way that has worked for you and tons of others has a haskoma from 'my type of rav'?

I "hear" the peeve. Yet I can't help but mention that SO many of us are coming from a life replete with contradiction (at least that's the case her in Lita)...so I guess being hypocritical in this area is the lesser of 2 evils?

Oh, and kudos to IWLR, who is buildin' quite the résumé, which should go something' like this:

All this wonderful back and forth with different ideas being discussed, debated, and refined has brought a few thoughts to mind. I would like to share one of them.

It is really wonderful to try to think big, to try to influence and to change a system that may indeed need some redirecting (far be it for me to decide anythin' close to that...). I think that the most powerful change can occur when YOU stand up to the plate.
That is what started a lot of these discussions, and I think it is what is going to affect the most change.
Yiftach spoke to a leading RY and Manhig, I sent a letter to my Rebbeim, Rabbeinu Eerie showed my letter and explained our connection to another, IWLR hung up signs in BMG.
YOU can take the initiative also! (You can even borrow one of the previously done ideas...)

I truly hope that these conversations bear fruit.
While we are waiting for the flowers to bud and the fruit to slowly ripen I would like to sound a clarion call of מי לה' אלי!
If you truly care about the אחינו בני ישראל who are drowning as you once were, then change out of your pj's, and pick YOUR way and YOUR idea of what YOU can do to help your brethren.

Just want to add, that when we go into recovery mode, we want to make sure it's not another false hope. Imagine calling up a number just to find out it's another one of those things that by giving blank amount of $ to a certain cause we'll be healed... 

Also, many of us never made the decision to go into the world of P&M. One thing led to another, till... boom! we were sucked in. When we try getting out, it usually comes from a decision that we make. When we make a decision, we want it to be backed up and worthwhile. 

I just shared ProudYungerman's letter, and IWLR's sign that went up on BMG's bulletin board, with a Rav in Lakewood who is also a relatively popular chosson Rebbi. (He is someone that I've spoken to in the past, so as awkward as it was, it certainly wasn't as bad as it could have been  ) In any event he was quite knowledgeable about GYE and what it does, he said he even sent a number of people to the website. He has a certain possible idea of how to get this issue more onto a front burner by Rabbonim and I will bez"h be in touch further with him over the next several weeks. Yasher Koach Rabbosai for stressing the fact that אין הדבר תלוי אלא בי! 

Lets keep this ball rolling and building inertia (get out the way) - Together we can bring real change!!

Wow am I surprised and impressed!

This morning I hung up another round of signs (round cuz they go down and then back up...) and when I went to check on them to see if they were still up, I found that someone had taped up their own little sign attached to mine.

This is what it said

The writer of this letter is a very choshuve, trustworthy yungerman, who sincerely cares about the challenges of his fellow Yidden. He has helped me personally and many others as well in overcoming these nisyonos - he can help you too. Please think twice before taking down this sign. It has saved my life, let it save others' lives as well. Tizku Lemitzvos!
Signed - a regular ben torah like you who wants to do ratzon Hashem and just needed some help.

Although I do appreciate the compliments I was blown away by the true cheshek that this dear friend of mine had to be mishtatef in the "awareness" project! I'm hoping that the sincerity and honesty written in these words can truly bring to more people being helped!

WOW reading through this is truly inspiring! The eagerness to share the news and spread the wealth is amazing and uplifting. 

I still fundamentally believe that this quote from earlier is the core item that needs to be overcome because it creates a sense of yiush and loneliness that make it almost impossible to overcome on your own:
All thought they were the only guy in BMG struggling, all thought they were the worst reshaim and losers since dor hamabul, and all thought they'd never break out.

I would also suggest directing people to the halachah headline episode from 2/17/2023 which included an interview with the GYE founders and Dr. Zimmerman (author of from Boys to Men). The percentages quoted by them are mind blowing. Even w/o specific training just getting the message out in as many ways as possible that you are not alone and it is possible to overcome is worthwhile. 

The other great source of chizzuk is the daily vayimaen video.
