This is a fatal flaw. When someone thinks their all high and mighty with zero flaws it can come to a point where if there is a problem they push it down in the dark so they can still feel the fantasy of being flawless. In the end this becomes the downfall of the person.
This unfortunately is the mindset of us as a Jewish nation. We have more problems than just lust addiction in our communities that are being pushed down and not dealt with.

BH you all are not gething knocked down by these ppl that are trying to hold up the fantasy of perfection and hopefully we will see mass results (it's already massive to help even 1 person for 1 day with this) come to fruition sooner rather than later.

Thank You!

THIS

Thanks a lot for your response. The truth is I have that pamphlet [ed: The Battle of the generation] for a while. I came across it in a store and it looked interesting. The problem is finding a good time to read it without people around.Secondly when I was struggling with watching a couple months back I reached out to guard your eyes and they hooked me up with an amazing person [ed: here here!!!] who have me a lot of his time and rewarded me somewhat for being clean. The problem now is that I am back to masturbation and I think it's the worst I was ever, regarding how often I am doing it. And when I spoke to him for practical guidance I felt a little dumb telling him how bad I am doing, after he put so much time into me. So when he would tell me you used to have sex on your head all the time and now you don't I would just nod my head and not say anything even though I still have the desire to the 10th power. That's why when I  saw your sign on the wall of the elevator I figured I may as well try my luck with you. Especially that you went through it for a long time and I don't have to feel guilty at all reaching out to you. Thanks a lot for hearing me out.I guess practically speaking you are saying I should set a side a time to read that book.

Disclosure:
As we go ahead and spray the awareness of GYE all over the world,
the objective is to make it known,
that there is help out there,
there many people including בני תורה struggling,
and that you could break free,
and many did break free by connecting with others,
and GYE is the place!!

That does not mean we all become certified mentors.

Is it true that  בני תורה can be struggling too?

And here it is, a response from the tzadik hador, the one who is moser nefesh for kiddush sheim shamayim etc. etc. - all rise!

Hi
I discussed it with talmidei chachomim.
They feel that if so many people reached out to you without you
advertising shortcomings of bnei yeshivah, then what's the need for
the chilul hashem? Leave out that line.
Thank you.

Edit: Just to clarify this is the paragraph that he didn't like, the letters in bold were added in the most recent round and were not on the sign the first two times I hung it up.
If my story sounds at all familiar, you should know that you are not alone. There are unfortunately many chashuve bnei torah that I know personally (including the 40 plus people from yeshiva that have reached out to me since I started hanging these signs…), and probably many more that I don’t know about, that struggle with these inyanim.

Do we have a commitment from him that he won't rip down the sign again? Did these תלמידי חכמים say that with that line there he's entitled to tear it down? אדרבה ,  it sounds to me that they're just saying, "why do you need it"? Maybe make it clear that he can't go tearing down these signs......

Guys let’s tone down the rhetoric on both sides of the aisle whether you’re MAGA or on the andere zeit.

People don’t like to change.
This yunger/older man doesn’t like a line you wrote.
he can do with some validation

Reb IWLR, when you put up the next batch of signs please right "This sign is b'haskomas many talmidei chachomim-reach them at this email _________ and put his email in there.
On a serious note, just ignore the guy and move on. And we'll work on real haskomos as well

לכבוד אחי ורעי בני הישיבה שיחיו

I’d like to share my story with you in the hope that others can gain from it…

As a young boy I was unfortunately exposed to the darkest tumah the internet has to offer. I spent many many years struggling, all the while trying to figure out how to break free of the terribly strong grip the yetzer hara had on me. I struggled through my years in mesivta, beis medrash and then as a yungerman here in BMG. This struggle gave me no rest and was a huge weight on my shoulders throughout all those years. Bchasdei Hashem, a few months ago I was zoche to learn the proper way how to deal with this nisayon and I’ve broken out of this terrible cycle that had been going on for more than 15 years.

If my story sounds at all familiar, you should know that you are not alone. As is well known, there are unfortunately many special, wonderful people that struggle with these inyanim, including the 40 plus people that have reached out to me since I started hanging these signs….

You should also know that it is quite possible to break free. The same way I did, you can as well.

.

Reb IWLR, perhaps, perhaps, אולי ואפשר this nusach will have a better chance of staying up. The part about the 40 people will not make any difference, והראיה your original signs didn't have that and they were ripped down. But perhaps, if the words 'bnei Torah' are left out, maybe it'll last another few minutes. It might be an exercise in futility, but שכרך הרבה מאד עד אין לשער!!!!!
I plan on calling some Lakewood rabbanim and asking them to ok the sign, and I'll let you know which name you can put on the sign. I would hope the talmidei chachomim our yanker speaks to respect the rabbanim.

P.s. please email the guy that my blood pressure is still up in the sky. What chilul Hashem is he talking about, for cryin' out loud? I'd type more, except it's causing me to get angry again. Ay, anybody heard of the term 'useful idiots'? Well, the YH also has some

I was wondering, maybe to change this sentence: As a young boy I was unfortunately exposed to the darkest tumah the internet has to offer.

Not sure how to write it, but to remove the word "internet", you can gain two things. People maybe will rip it down less if it does not have this taboo word. And this way it can connect with the people who fall/act out without the internet, whether on phone lines, in person, print magazine etc.

Not sure how to make it more encompassing.
As a young boy I was unfortunately exposed to the darkest tumah the outside world has to offer. ?

So, I asked Rabbi Felder from Lakewood about the signs. He had no issue with the sign, but he didn't like the fact that it says that over 40 bnei Torah have called already. He was very politically correct, he didn't say it's wrong just why do you need that line. I told him I think it gives chizuk to a person seeing it, so that he knows that he's not the only ben Torah struggling, which almost every yeshiva guy thinks. To that he said that since the sign is being written by a yeshiva guy, perhaps that is enough for people to realize that they are not some. When I continued arguing my case, he said, you know what? Try it without that line. If you see that less people are calling then put that line back in

In any case, IWLR, you can now put it up in BMG, and write "Rabbi Felder was asked about this sign. And he approved"

Keep on trucking!
