Due to some serious breaches in Tzniyus that I am not at liberty to divulge, and after consultation with experts, it has been decided that the men and women's forums on GYE will now be completely separate. Men will not be allowed access to the women's forum, and women will not be allowed access to the men's forum.

We would also like to re-iterate that posting e-mail addresses and telephone numbers is forbidden on the forum. Instead, PM's should be used (between each gender separately).

We apologize for the inconvenience - and just so that no one should get wrong ideas, let me state that it has nothing to do with our dear women members, 7Up, Habib, Trying, Letakein and theOne.

I back Guard fully, although i too am heartbroken.

For now, I will remain with my girls on the womens side. You guys have plenty of very special people to help you.
I will miss you all tremendously.

I honestly believe that my personal struggle would have failed without you amazing men who helped me step by step.

Thanks for your support Mom, but I'd still appreciate if you make rounds once in a while by the men... Especially so that they know there's a GYE rebbitzin with whom they can consult when they need a "women's perspective" on things. But you are right, the girls will need you more now, so it's good if you do spend a bit more time on their board :-)

Girls, all the best to you and much hatzlacha in  your battles; I hope that you will find your own password protected forum much more effective as you will be able to speak freely, and IYH you will attract many more members whom will feel much more comfortable in the new ladies only environment.

TrYiNg, now would be the perfect time to show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile. It was very sad that it had to come to this, but now that we are here, we need to make the most of it. I strongly suspect that many women who were only observing will now feel comfortable to start posting knowing that there is a women only section. I'm also really sorry that you had to deal with this in a manner similar to the way I did. I just want to reiterate (even though you've already been told this) that you are in no way responsible. We must do our best to help others, but we cannot jeopardize ourselves in the process. Keep up the amazing work, and try not to let this change bother you so much. I hope that before too long the womens' forum will be teeming with so much activity that 7up will not be able to respond to all of the posts.

I'm going to miss the support that I've gotten from the girls, but I realize that whatever happened, our goal is to grow, and avoid risks.

And I know that the girls still support me, even if they're not reading and responding to my thread, just as they know that I support and have the utmost respect for them.

I don't like this one bit.

This sucks. Some of the best chizuk was from the women. They are naturally more spiritual.
