as they say: today is the most important day of your life.

keep up the work, one day at a time, and don't forget that a fall is an opportunity to pick yourself up, brush yourself off and see where you can fix something to avoid it happening in the future.

surround yourself with good things, Torah, tefila, friends, family, GYE, post away, read up, sing a happy tune and you will see the urges and sneaky secrets shrinking bezras Hashem.

(i am talking to myself as much as to you)

:)E.H. Welcome!. u r in a good place! i can identify with the feelings of guilt when indulging in ta'vos at the same time wanting a connection with the Borei Olom!
yasher koach on your sobriety. i am very nispael that you r not blaming anyone else for your situation including your ayshes chayil. i would not be suprised if u told me that that there were Shalom Bayis issues.

No, Yedidyah Aleph. No Shalom Bayis problems whatsoever, b"H. To the contrary...

With Hashem's help and R' Lazer Brody's guidance, I started realizing that what's really doing me in is a lack of Emunah and, to a greater extent, Bitachon.

Strengthen yourself in that regard and you'll see much improvement.

Thank you, Hashem!!!
And thank you, R' Lazer! May Hashem give you the Koiach to continue the holy work of spreading Hashem greatness to the common folk, Umein!

Day 6 of many!

Inching forward, B"H -- not without slips, but progress nonetheless.

I thank you, HaShem, for everything -- the beautiful, ehrliche wife; the adorable children; the communal structure; the intelligence with which you imbued me; the strength to see this struggle through; heck, even this struggle itself -- everything!!!!

The future looks promising. With a little bit of self-control and a healthy perspective, we will see progress, be"H!

B"H! Be"H! Shtarken zich, and never losing sight of the goals!

Laying in bed and dreaming of a time when I'll look back and say, "When was the last time I did those reprehensible, sick things? Is it 7 years already? No, wait, it's 9!...

Oh, well...

The only way to get there is by living one day at a time. Because each day...is all we have.

And, in case of emergency, sometimes we need to take it one minute at a time.
