63 DAYS!! 9 WHOLE WEEKS!!!

Feeling absolutely amazing, B"H. I know I sound like a broken record over my last few posts, but given how I'm feeling, הלואי ויתר, if not even better.

Well this broken record sure plays some beautiful music!

Re: I Get Back Up Again 24 Mar 2023 03:18 #393831

Hey all. Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I'll make up for it with some great news.

Eighty two.

82 FREAKING DAYS!!!!

Holy smokes, I'm beyond excited. I have never, EVER been so close to 90 since I fell down this god-awful rabbit hole almost 5 years ago. BUT...

...it's getting so much harder. For starters, it's Bein Hazmanim, which means I'm now back home and around unfiltered devices once again. To make matters worse, I received an out-of-the-blue email offer to try a VPN site for 30 days free. Add in the fact that the lust is pumping harder than ever due to the fact that I've been clean for so long, and it's going to be a hell of a task getting to 90.

But, as clichéd as it sounds, I haven't come this far just to fall now. I AM GOING TO GET TO 90, AND BEYOND. I am NOT going to let this filth and scum get the better of the fighter that I've become. I am going to make it to 90 days, and then I'm going to only keep climbing higher, BE"H. (

Hope everybody is doing well. Hatzlacha to all.

Have a wonderful Shabbos,

Hey all.

Up to 84, B'li Ayin Hara. Getting closer with each day.

Without a doubt, this week will be hard, due to the reasons mentioned in my last post. But hey, the higher you climb up the mountain, the thinner the air gets. Just the way it works. It's not going to stop me from reaching the top.

Hope everybody is doing well. Hatzlacha to all.

And then?  Make sure to prepare for day 91 realistically. Definitely celebrate, but don't fall into the trap many have fallen into of expecting days 91 and on to be yetzer hara free...

100%. I've heard from and read about countless fellow fighters who have described falling hard after 90, letting their guards down thinking the challenge was over. 90 is just a checkpoint and a celebratory day. But once the party's over, the climb continues upward, and that's the only direction I'll continue in, BE"H.

87. 87 DAYS!!!

So close. I can almost taste it.

OK, that's not true. I have no clue how it will taste, I have to get there first. But I imagine it will be good.

It's just amazing how much Hashem has blessed me with. So much pain, filth & evil in the world, and He chose me to serve Him. I'm so, so lucky.

Hope everybody is doing well. Hatzlacha to all.

Talk to you soon (almost party time!),

88 DAYS! (Otherwise known as Andrei Vasilevskiy Day. If you get it, you get it. If you don't, we'll call it Martin Necas Day. What, you don't get that either? Forget it.)

Just amazing, amazing, amazing. Thank you Hashem for everything!

Hope everybody else is doing well. Hatzlacha to all.

89!

Just...amazing. Can't believe I'm near such a milestone. Overflowing with gratitude to the Ribono Shel Olam, who has given me everything in my life, but above all, chose me to serve Him. Thank you Hashem.

I'm honestly getting a bit emotional just typing this, so I have to remind myself that 90 is just a checkpoint & milestone, and the fight continues much longer than that. I'm ready.

Can't wait to celebrate with everyone. This Shabbos is going to be filled with unbelievable Simcha. (Again, just...wow.)

Hope everybody else is doing well. Hatzlacha to all.

Rabboisai, L'CHAIM!!!!!!

Officially at 91 days. Incredible. THANK YOU RIBONO SHEL OLAM!!!

Will reflect on this milestone and how I made it here in a different thread/post soon.

Now, 2 items on the docket:
1) Celebrate! (Probably by going for a run in the freezing cold and rain. Yes, I'm serious.)
2) Onward! It's not about streaks or milestones, it's about consistency. And BE"H, that will hopefully continue.

Hope everybody else is doing well. Hatzlacha to all.

93 DAYS!

BUT...it's getting a lot harder. Lust is increasing steadily, weather is getting warmer (which, if you get my drift, is not good for Shmiras Einayim), and the free VPN 30-day trial (which got emailed to me as a "reward" from a company-incredibly frustrating) is still lurking in my mind. Need to buckle down and stay focused as Pesach approaches, but B"H, given that I haven't fallen once in 2023, feeling quite confident, despite my uneasiness.

Hope everybody else is doing well. Hatzlacha to all.

A Gutten Moed all. Afraid the news isn't so positive this time.

Over the 3-day YT, the dopamine just kept increasing and increasing, and I fantasized/lusted in a way that I hadn't done in a LONG time. Once Motzaei Shabbos came, I found myself unable to stay off of the computer, and eventually Google searched (bypassing the filter) inappropriate pictures/images-NOT pornography, but still, the images I looked at were definitely אסור, and thus I have to consider it a fall, even if it wasn't pornography per se.

Thankfully, it didn't progress beyond that, and I've stayed clean since. B"H, feeling much better now, and ready to keep fighting and climbing.

Hope everybody else is doing well. Hatzlacha to all.
