You're okay in my book.

Besides for being my 1,000th post, today is the 2 year anniversary of my first post.
Although I still have yet to reach 90 days clean, for the last several months I have actually been able to live life on a pretty consistent basis, without the constant shadow of lust and escape hovering over me as I have felt for the several years prior.  I feel this is a result of getting close to real people here who struggle just like me. In addition, I went to my first SA meeting this week, and I hope to progress further into recovery with my new friends.
I would like to thank everyone on this forum who has helped me get to where I am today, and I apologize if I am forgetting anyone.
I owe my life to you.

I always think about you and have gotten much chizzuk from our talks as well as your posts.

Moshe: I feel lucky to be able to call you a friend. You were there for me in my darkest hour, and there was a reason I felt I could open up to you and rely on you. You're truly a special person with a good heart. I feel honored that I was in the list of people. I also was pleasantly surprised how thorough the list was, (I will tell newyorker94 that you say thank you). I applaud you taking that Big Step, (badumbum), of attended a live SA meeting. It's a good place and everyone has to go through their own processes before going to a meeting. Apparently God decided it was time. Hatzlacha Raba.

First off congrats on your milestone. I owe you one tremendous debt of gratitude. I was flailing around and sinking deeper into my addiction when I came onto GYE. You reached out to me (several times actually) and got me to take some more serious steps. Which led to me finally joining live SA ( I'm now almost 60 days sober and they were some of the hardest 60 days I've ever had! But I think this was the first real sobriety I've ever experianced.) You were definitely the catalyst that got me to this point. Just having someone reach out to me then when I felt totally isolated was such a boost for me. So you have my eternal gratitude.
