I am approaching the BIG 90 and I am quit excited.

I never dreamed I could go on for 90 days without a fall but thanks to GYE's combined forces I am nearly there :D

Mazal Tov! Can you share with us a little about your journey, your story, and what things worked for you now, and your feelings, and plans for the future, etc... I want to inspire everyone and send it in a chizuk e-mail!

May this be the first step in a lifetime of sobriety and closeness to Hashem!

As I wrote in the beginning I was not as addicted as most people here, just occasional struggles, and I do not see myself fit to encourage such heroes who deserve the worlds praise.

Regarding the future let me tell you what I thought while learning this week’s parsha.

Rash"i tells us that the middle of the ladder in Jacob's dream was above the Beis Hamikdosh and the question is what do we have to know this for?

And I thought of an answer with a story I heard once of a king that promised his daughter to whoever will clime this massive huge building of 80 floor till the top.
Loads of people started ascending the stairs eventually becoming exhausted at some level. The strong ones climbed up till the 30th other till the 35th floor and they gave up.
There was one person who, on the verge of giving up thought to himself "if the king said climbing till the top it must be possible, it can't be he gave a task that nobody can fulfill" and with this he climbed another 5 floors.
Upon reaching the 40th floor he saw that the stairs finished by a lift and as he entered the lift it took him to the top!!

The king wanted to see who will trust him blindly; he took care of the rest!

The same thing with the ladder, you are trying to climb up? First do it with all your might, once you get to the middle you are parallel with the Beis Hamikdosh and things will be much different from here.

May we all clime only upwards.

Thanks, all our dear friends, for your compliments.

I opened GYE first and was a bit overwhelmed by your comments, then I opened my inbox and everything became clear!

My friends in the office must be wondering why I was blushing all of a sudden... :-[

I had a bit of a tough day yesterday, Rebbetsin G was annoyed and it effected me (‘cause I was the cause…)  and I felt a bit down, but once a read my own writings it lifted me up!!

It seems we see things better when out of the box.

Or when opening the "In Box"

I was ready to send the e-mail yesterday, when I noticed the number #638.
I was like, WHAT? G38?? OMG!
So I went back and added that line at the top about coincidence  :D...
pretty weird/amazing. No?

HUGS FROM EVERYONE HERE, and of-course, from our Eternal Best Friend!

I wasn't here for some time, not active that is, and slowly the connection became weaker and weaker :-[.

I realized that by just reading the Chizuk email even if it doesn't apply to me still strengtens me in my struggle.

I will try to come back more often!
