I happen to enjoy Kiddush Levana (I even tighten my tzitzis knots after-i seem to be the only guy in my shul that does that) but I HATE the dancing afterwards. Happens to be, a bunch is years ago back in my shul in ירושלים (I believe it was מוצאי י״כ) and I started the regular old tune. The gabbai gives me such an incredulous look and starts singing it to Carlebach’s “Orech Yamim”. The oilam started pumping.
