Yeah, so when I “signed up” to have another kid, I never thought he’d start teething before 3 months. I mean, our first started at around 4-5 months, so I figured we’d be safe until at least then. But nooo, he just had to beat his big brother. 

On a similar grouch-note, am I just supposed to not wear my nice suits until he stops spitting up? I freaking position the burp cloth to catch his stuff, and just in time- he nails my suit! And, even if the burp cloth is in position, he outsmarts his totty and aims around the bleeping thing! What the ה!!!

My favorite halacha is that the mishna berura says not to hold children on shabbos (since they'll urinate on you). I'm very makpid on that one.

For supper before the fast, we were going to have salmon with roasted vegetables and rice. Sounds yummy and filling, right?
Well, as it turned out, my wife didn’t realize that supper was supposed to be eaten before mincha. Not only that, she left her phone in her room and didn’t answer my calls to tell her so. And so, when I got home at around 5:45, the rice had just been put up (it got ready just after the fast started), and the veggies and salmon were totally unprepared. Harrumph.
