Who does have the password?  If it's the filter gabai, contact him.

I ask my wife to type in the password, I make the changes, then I log out.

Whose e-mail address is associated with your K9 license?

if, for whatever reason, you do not have access to the password, you might be able to install another filter (openDNS, SafeEyes or something) on top of K9 and then configure it to block whatever you want to block and then give the password to someone or keep the password on the other side of town or in a safe deposit box or something

just putting out the idea, i do not know if having two filters would cause the machine to discombobulate or not

By the way I forgot to thank Kedusha for demonstrating his overwhelming Jewishness by answering my every question with a question.

(I had more to write but you would accuse me of Onoas devarim and stuff).

If you have Windows Vista or later, make sure that your son does not have an administrator account for his desktop, and then you can set up parental controls for his individual desktop.

Also, tell him that all Internet access is being monitored, and make sure to review your daily eBlaster (or similar) report.

Hey,

My filter blocks *****. I'm sure that you just need to change the settings. It blocks ***** because it is classified as Proxy Avoidance Computers / Internet

Great solution!

There has to be a special room in the hot place for the inventors of any technology that tries to circumvent filters, Yimach Shemam!  > > >
