One of the yetzers strongest strategies is to tell you:
"Your a nobody. Your a loser. Look at the aveiros that you did! Dont even try to pretend your a Torah Jew. . Whats the point of going to daf yomi if you spend an hour last night looking at porn. Dont be a hypocrite"

Lets learn from the yetzer. Do something amazing, something incredible, something you ordinarily would never do. Saying hello to the nasty neighbor you hate, giving a massive sum of money to tzedaka that is beyond your comfort zone, setting up a chavrusa with someone lonely, or anything else you can think of. Once you perform that action, your yetzer tov will tell you: "You are such a tzaddik, such a holy Jew. Look at the chesed you did, the tzedakah you gave, the torah you learned...Who are you to go back to the lowliness of looking at pornography? Dont be a hypocrite!!"

Leider zt'l. Once, as a yungerman, he collapsed in the beis medresh, and
people succeeded to revive him. The next day he came to the beis
medresh and said, "Yesterday I almost made the kuntz" (trick, implying that he almost died and went up to heaven).

Another renowned Slonimer Chosid, Reb Elazar Katz zt'l replied, "What did you say? That you almost made 'the kuntz'? How would you survive up
there in heaven? You don’t have there לא תתורו (the mitzvah to be cautious with one's eyes)."
