Now this sounds weird, I know. I am a teenager and a pretty good Yeshiva guy. I like learning and growing and Jewish music and doing chessed and stuff, buy I have been watching porn and masturbating since I was 12 (5 years).
So what works for me?
Whenever I am in Yeshiva I am pretty good. I think the reasons are:
1. I am always around other guys.
2. There is always something to do.
3. Learning is much easier (The Beis Medrash is so close!)
4. I have a set learning schedule (especially gemara bi'iyun!)

Now for the weird part about this. I once read in a sefer that anyone who says parshas kitores with the proper kavannah is zocheh to have all the gezeiros on him for that day uprooted! So I say kitores everyday. In fact, one day when I was home I wasn't able to say kitores and I fell. (I have fallen other times even on days I said kitores but it was a little different then.) So I would recommend looking into the power of these korbanos that us Ashkenazim don't think we have to say. (BTW the Rama says to say it after shacharis...)
