Does anyone have any tips on how to block Google Image search with K9. We know filters are not fool proof, but would still like to have this one blocked...thx

I don't know about k9, but you can lock 'safe search' on google images. You can create a google account, lock safe search, and then lose your google password, so it can't be undone. Also not foolproof though.

I believe K9 does have a an option to block image search. The administrator needs to go into the K9 settings (I don't remember what it's called exactly), where you can select which categories should be blocked. There should be a category for image search.

Hope that helps.

Unfortunately those options don't work. Other suggestions welcome!

You can block the actual website. go to the google images site (but don't search for anything please), copy the web address and paste it into the always block option in the k9 control. This is also just a quick fix but I hope it helps.
