Hey Guys.
What is the normal waiting after your wife has a baby to resume sexual activity.
It's been keeping me on my toes for 3 weeks already

some people wait up to 3 months. unfortunately. Hey we were all in your shoes. Take care of the little baby and put all your love and care into him and you will feel much better.

The normal waiting time is the amount of time that H' determines is right for YOU.

If you are looking for the average, it averages between
a few weeks,
several weeks,
and perhaps longer.

I don't know if you suffer from SA, but on the chance that Lust means more to you than just לשם שמים, use this importunity to work on it. Like working on iggeret Haramban and this new sefer that's popular in EY (forgot the name, חובת הבית??? )

and he'res a cheezy line to make your life 'a whole lot easier'

In my experience:  The more your wife is off her feet and resting, the quicker the recovery process will go.  So you have you work cut out for you.  Mazel Tov

Mazel Tov.

I would guess about 6 weeks. Also, it pays to wait a little longer, a few days more and even two weeks more. Otherwise they are at risk of falling back and you have to wait another two weeks.

What I've heard is that 3-8 weeks is normal, with 6 being around the usual. Keep in mind that depending on how difficult the labor was, whether they had to cut anything, etc, she may still be in some pain even after the bleeding stops.

Something that can make things even more difficult is that at times, some wives may feel the difficulty of a long separation, and then you have feelings of wanting to help her thrown into the mix.

The key is that you can do this, you both can, you will. You'll be fine.
