Often when i'm walking down the street and i see coming up a nesoyin to look or not to look, i will start humming the tune of nesana tokef of rosh hashana and yom kipper to myself. Most people get aroused from this niggin and if you hum it you will get a glimpse of it and will hopefully keep you from looking.

A Rebbi advised me many years ago that I should walk down the street voicelessly singing the words Lo sasuru acharei .... eineichem to any popular tune.
