To answer your original question, it is possible to email some of the wonderful people here, HHM at michelgelner@gmail.com, or Chaim Oigen at chaim.oigen@gmail.com Proudyungerman at proudyungerman@gmail.com. You can connect to these wonderful mentors, and they'll be available even when you can't reach GYE. BTW, even when you can reach GYE, these are some of the people you should be in touch with

The only options are using this website, including private messages, the hotline, speaking to Hashem Help Me the main mentor at michelgelner@gmail.com, buying the book The Battle of the Generation and speaking to your mashgiach. If you can't use your phone for the hotline or a computer to connect to the website you have no other way of connecting to us. We don't give out emails and phone numbers and frankly if you can use emails or phone numbers then you can use the website and the hotline. Without a phone and computer all you can do is buy the book and speak to your mashgiach. We can't meet a stranger in person for safety reasons.

I'm also trying to access pm's and having the exact same issue. also trying to work out how to access during zman. Everyone seems to be screaming to get in touch with HHM.

If you don't have a plan (zman starts in just days) and were going to do only one thing, probably contacting HHM would be the the best one thing most people could do.

I spoke to GYE support, they said you need to be a member for 30 days before you can pm.

when i joined a bit over a month ago the way it went was: PM was available right away and chat option i needed to wait 30 days for.
My PM worked right away though for a few days in middle it stopped working. It started working again a few days later.
Maybe they switched the policy or u were mixing up pm and chats.

Hi, Also to respond to the initial question, 
First, Welcome! I'm glad that you are finding GYE so helpful and that you are trying to continue into the zman! I don't know your situation or the policies in your yeshiva so these ideas may not work for you but...
1) If your yeshiva allows "kosher" smartphones, you can get the GYE app (called My Yoman) on a safetelecom phone (provided that it is on the approved app list of your yeshiva which it probably isn't since it's pretty new and a lot of yeshivas aren't fully on the GYE ball).
2) Is there somewhere you can access a computer near your yeshiva? This will take a lot of logistics, I used college and library computers, but at times when there wouldn't be other people around, and also this still isn't Lechatchilah.
3) like what the guys said before, try emailing some of the guys on here (thought I realize you have only recently joined and the zman is imminent) 
4) If you have out shabbosim where you have access, Capitalize on those opportunities.
5) even though it might be very awkward and difficult to speak to a rebbe about this, especially in a new yeshiva, it many times will be very helpful and they can help you figure out this problem (I had 2 of my rabbeim give me access to their office computers for GYE, while informing me that they had very good filters and webchaver on them:) ).
6) Even if you don't figure this out immediately and go into the zman without GYE, DON'T GIVE UP!!!!! Take the tools you have gained so far and write them down and review them everyday. Also buy a copy of the book Battle of the Generation (if you are embarrassed to have it in the dorm, find a place to stash it, again having a rebbe to help you would assist in this, my mashgichim all have copies of the book to lend out to guys when they need it)
