Haba.
How is it going?  i went to my first ever SA meeting the other night.  i would have preferred a Jewish group but beggars and addicts can't be choosers.  It was a struggle to walk in the door but then i was just like everyone else there, except for the kippah, striving for recovery.    The serenity prayer was fine with me, the lords prayer at the end not so fine.  Be sure to sit between men because at some point they hold hands.  Also, at "chip time" every person getting a chip was hugged by the person in charge of the chips, so if female i'll wait till next time.  No triggers from any of those sharing just chizuk and support for each other.  One member there has accessed this sight repeatedly and even had the SA book from GYE on his i-phone, he is Muslim and he called me today to see how i was doing.  I plan on returning to this group again next week.
