I just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone here for helping me so much.  I am still very early in my journey to recovery (14 days), but I can't tell you how helpful it is to have the ability to come here and read messages of chizuk, success, challenge and inspiration on a daily basis. 

May we all have a full recovery soon!

I've been battling with my addiction for 4 years now. Only recently have I got involved with GYE. I've really thrown myself full force in to it, and I've never felt better. Until this point I felt like I was battling my addiction, but I would inevitably fall eventually when I would lose focus for a mi ute. However, being consistently involved in GYE and checking in every day is very powerful. It's letting the yetzer hara know that you don't take him lightly. He is working against you always, so you have to combat him equally. Checking in every day with GYE is a powerful reminder to yourself and your yeter hara that you you will jot allow him to prevail. So WTS once you are here DON'T EVER LEAVE, and throw yourself in to this full force it's worth every second!

You are doing everything right.  Did you get the welcome package yet?  What about a filter?  Are you checking out the handbooks.  There's a lot here.  My suggestions is take it a little at a time and ask a bunch of questions.  Especially the "stupid' one.

We have a filter at home, and it's fantastic.  I don't have one at work, because my company is networked, so no individual downloads.  It's quite a challenge, but I'm doing what I can.
