No, what bothers me is referring to chasidim as ultra orthodox. That the media calls chasidim "Ultra Orthodox" is one thing. But as a Jew who is involved with Jews of all sects, I know kippa seruga, black hatters, chasiddish and sefardy individuals who I would classify as "Ultra Orthodox". I classify nobody as ultra orthodox merely because they speak yiddish and wear a shtreimel

Well, like I said I didn't really have a problem with the thread just the title was getting on my nerves. I'd love to contribute to the Yiddish site, but my yiddish is lousy.

By the way, if you adopt my attitude about "Ultra Othodoxy" you get less upset when some '"Ultra Orthodox" people get busted by the FBI, because in my book they were never "Ultra Orthodox" they just dressed like their particular culture.

wishing for the real me	I don't speak Yiddish. I went online looked up hebrew english keyboard. Printed it, cut it into squares and taped it onto my keyboard.

Cool! it does real official Yiddish (see how it spelled "Chanuka") and you need to use "kh" for the "ches" sound.
