Hey y'all, many of us watch the daily Vayimaen videos. They are extremely powerful and encouraging, but being that it takes about 3 minutes to watch, when the hustle bustle of the day sets in, I tend to forget the messages. With that, i would like to make a daily post, a short post, with the point of that days Vayimaen video, which will take quicker to review then watching the whole video.

He says a story of a guy that collapsed and feels that his zchus to be alive is because of the kabbala he undertook three minutes before. The lesson he said was, that this nisayon can make the difference between life and death. 
I thought that the lesson can be, that sometimes the RS"O has a gezeira in-store for a person, but He gives the person a chance to be oimed bnisayon and through that he'll be saved from that gezeira (I saw this in a sefer. forgot which). This guy had a burst of inspiration just before this gezeira, and the fact that he utilized that inspiration to make a kabbala, saved him from certain death.

His Nimshal was great, but the Moshol struck me as off.
An everything bagel isn't because I cant decide which of the flavors I want, any more than a cholent is me being indecisive about beans barley meat or potatoes (ketchup?) Its flavor is the specific combination of different ingredients, that together combine in a small part of a breakfast special.

I fail to see how that ties in

The part I liked was the story with Rav Yankle Galinsky’s mother who impressed upon him not to look at another persons plate, only at your own. 

Once i was in a restaurant and the guy next to us kept looking at everyone else’s food and calling over the waiter to ask questions about what he wasn’t eating. He didn’t look like he enjoyed his meal much, even after he added a few things….

I think he was referring to the conception of the everything bagel, why was there a need to start making the everything bagel, but once its here its just another bagel option. Btw, i know very indecisive people that absolutely (Is it absolute? maybe, i'm not sure) despise everything bagels.
