I believe it was the Bobover Rav that said, the term Dmus Dyuknoi shel Aviv, there's a double possessive here, Dyuknoi shel Aviv, which the Rav explained to mean, Dmus dyuknoi, the picture of him, of Yosef, shel Aviv, that his father had. Meaning, what helped him overcome the nisayon was the way we knew his father thought of him, the way he knew his father believed in him, the image of him, of Yosef, that he knew existed in his father's mind.
