I am very much for a normal Chat section here . Would be the best thing for all of us at least for me! There was one here before but that had links to bad places. What we need here is an independent chat for the GUE group. Rabbinu Guard said for $800.00 he can put one up. Is anyone willing to pay part of the expenses? I would give the first $100.00 if we can put this together soon. Does anybody want to chip into the heilger Mitzvah. Everytime some one gets saved by chatting there you will have schar. C"mon lets see if we can do a nachas ruach for Hashem. Imagine all those who follow us later!!

way it works is very simple:

1) PM me for the URL
2) make up your own alias
3) password is guemember
4) Wolah! a GUE chat room exclusive!

Let me know if there is problems accessing the site because of filter (k9 etc).

It's blocked because that site can host all sorts of chat rooms, many of which I'm sure are the kind that the good folks here are trying to stay away from...
What we really should do is use IRC and embed a java IRC client into the GYE site. I'm not an expert in this area, but maybe tomim knows more about it. Obviously the members who want to use chat would need to learn a little bit about IRC, but not that much.

We need here to be hosted by GUE and moniterd by Rabbinu. We used to have one set up here but it was removed for that reason that it went to other Chats as well!

since youve never been to the site you dont know. but you cant just JUMP chats. its not like a site of a whole bunch of chat rooms. your room is like a private website. you cant just jump when your bored there is no where to jump.
