Hi there. Does anyone know how to block internet access at certain times from a computer? (Let's say from 10 to 7. Not from thae wifi network, rather from the computer itself. )

There are probably filters that can do that. Ask your filter company.

Macs have Parental Controls that should allow time periods with a password

For Chrome and Edge browser there is the StayFocusd extension which has the Nuclear Option cutting off all internet access for a time period. No password but they have a way to make settings hard to change.

However, the extensions serve a purpose for working folk that don't have admin rights to install software on their machines.

At the end of the day it's a Geder. For me it works because I was mikabel bli neder to only use internet within the confines of my StayFocusd settings.

And yes, every now and then my hands mysteriously type of their own will nytimes.com or some such time-sucking news-site that eventually leads to clicking into video sites and porn...and then the StayFocusd message to stop wasting time comes up...and I think Baruch Hashem! And move on...

Techloq is probably the most customizable filter out there. Meshimer is also pretty good.
