Can we do other things in honor of Chanukah?

I would like to not watch any movies or shows throughout Chanukah.

I truly admire your ability to try again and again and be positive and find meaning in all good days and screw the whole streak thingy.  

I just prepared in the last few hours leading up to Canukah with porn and masturbation and feeling like… I am moved by your resilience and with gods help over Chanukah will not do any proactive activity with the intention of feeding my lust. No filter poking, no incognito mode etc…

I’m in!!! I know it’s only 8 days but it definitely will be a struggle. 
I'm also trying to be careful on movies and TV shows.(I made a Kabbalah but this one might be harder!)
I find the evenings the hardest part…. No real structure and even if you have a party- not either so conducive!! 
Im really hoping that I can pull through on both/tri ends. 
How do others fill there time after lighting and until bed? Would love to get some ideas

just want to destress, I think we all know where that leads us!!! Kinda funny when I think about it, I’m either to bored or to stressed!!!! I guess I got to find that perfect medium rare.

Close call over here! Was just browsing for something and something else caught my eye… Went deeper and realized what I was doing. Pulled myself out but it wasn’t easy… nervous for shabbos, need to make sure to keep myself busy and not feel down.

Okay, this is a little hard for me to look at the last post and now write this one…. I fell!! 
I was trying really hard over shabbos to get busy with other stuff but Motzie Shabbos the end was hard and I couldn’t pull through.
