I want to know if netspark is better than gentech in terms of just filtering and the loopholes it has. I ran into a very big loophole with gentech which I had to call them to fix not too long ago and that was just not good. I also don't like that I'm able to call them and ask them to uninstall. 

Can anyone let me know if they use netspark and if they ran into loopholes with it or not? And for NativUSA also? I'm going to call TAG for the main questions I have but I don't know if they can tell me which has more loopholes than the other.

Sorry to hear. Focusing on the Filter is keeping your eyes off the target - not worth spending much time on it.

Taking things seriously would be making new changes to yourself - your schedule - your focus - not your devices.

Same. Didn't even have a filter till recently and did fine. Ironically when I got my filter I had to "test" it a bit and actually fell a few times. For me it's more about stating busy and aware

I've personally found gentech to be much better than netspark on my android phone. I had an issue with netspark, but it could happen in a few different ways which meant it became annoying to always try to plug the loophole, but became trivial to find out. Occasionally with gentech I had one or 2 images that should get through, but it was much less of an issue for me than netspark. Maybe it depends on the device

I agree with markz and EvedHashem. The only lasting changes will be in yourself, not in the filters. But to accomplish this, it requires a lot of time. During the struggle, I would assume that everyone should have an effective filter. If you are good at getting around filters, then you may need some other idea, but why is it not important to have an effective filter while you work on yourself?

I have gentech. I have a friend who is good at getting past filters to check it out. He could not get past it, but he thinks he got past gentech on other people's phones.

For some of us having a filter in the beginning makes the yetzer hara stronger.

There are some unique circumstances where a filter can be counterproductive. I believe that most people don’t fall into that category. Those of us who who are unfortunately in this category have to put in more internal work before we can be ready for a filter.
