The exhilarating feeling of pride passing such a test, is an investment in iyh staying clean. So yes, keep those filters on, and may Hashem protect you (and all of us) when challenges arise. We can assume that what ou did has an element of mesiras nefesh. Daven to Hashem for someone who needs a yeshua. You bent your teva - natural setting for Him; He should fight the world's teva - natural setting for whoever you daven for.

just to share a vort I saw on this weeks parsha that can be so relevant to many of us:
The Pasuk says ויאמר המלט על נפשיך אל תביט אחריך...... ההרה המלט פן תספה. the Lev simcha of Gur explains that this Pasuk is teaching every Jew: המלט על נפשיך from the yetzer hora, and in whatever situation he is אל תביט אחריך- DONT LOOK BACK at the not good past as this is the yetzer horas trick to pull you down, and the pasuk continues that the only way is ההרה המלט פן תספה-JUST KEEP PUSHING FORWARD. KEEP CLIBMING.

When you walk on the street, and you see a beautiful woman is coming your way, and you want to LOOK at her.

Look at it as an opportunity to grow; Hashem sent her your way that you should turn your head and look the other way.

Do you remember when we use to play game boy, and there was all kind of barriers jumping in our way to make us lose the game, and we JUMPED it over with excitement?

This is exactly what's happening here; this woman we came across is just an opportunity to earn points for our game if we jump it over; let's turn our head the other direction and run!
