If the Admin decides to anoint oil on your head and appoint you a moderator, people are gonna say "here comes trouble again". It's a great hiding login name but it's not a real name...

But maybe your parents called you "trouble" from the day you were born...?

Trouble: Mark is a very interesting person who really means well. He can be a bit intense at times but we still love him. You'll (maybe) learn that if you stick around. His point was that many people hide behind their username on GYE and don't actually open up to anybody. Opening up to real people can be where a lot of the growth comes from.

I don't understand the moderator/oil line, but I get the rest of it.

There are many people on this site with funny or fake names; perhaps even the majority.

I wasn't raised as trouble, but high school and beyond, that was me.

Regarding your first question, I was stuck in this filth for plenty of years. Before marriage and during. I took some serious steps some years ago to get out of this rut, and thankfully, I am doing well now. Danger is always lurking, so I thought that joining here would help keep me stopped.
