GUE is intended to help religious Jews.
But, as we know, this is available on the internet. Therefore, we can't help if sometimes some very praiseworthy non-Jews check in with us from time to time and benefit from our work. We have even gotten chizuk from such testimonies.
However, they may encounter a problem understanding us. Not being Jewish, they might not be familiar with all the Jewish Jargon.
So, here's our chance to help them out.
This thread is dedicated to define the Jewish words that might get thrown around so freely elsewhere in this forum.
Also, please don't be bashful to ask here if there is a particular word that you have seen on GUE that you don't understand.
In addition, the technical lingo that may be familiar to old-timers, but confusing to newbies, may also be explained here.
For example, PM no longer stands for Post Maridian. It now means Private Message.
Usage: 8:00PM. Means, "AT 8:00, please send me a Private Message," or, "I got a Private message a 8:00).
