OK here's a couple of things...

There does not seem to be any way to set what time zone you are in.

When replying to a PM can "Trash Original" be set to unchecked by default?

It would be even better if PMs could be threaded the way it was in the old system.

It would be even more better if somehow all the old PMs could be imported into the new site before they disappear forever...

I agree with Gevura and I want to add:

1. Enable chat by default.
2. Let us preview posts to see what they look like.
3. The editor should hide the formatting codes like in MS Word.
4. When a quote is inserted into a post or a PM it should be time and date stamped.
5. When I copy and paste a link to a post I want to get the exact post and not just the board.

It's a great forum and I'm sure it will be an improvement over SMF which also worked well.

Some of those things are already there. Specifically:

#2 - at the right end of the editing toolbar there are buttons to provide a preview pane either beside or below the editing window. Still it would be nice to have a true WYSIWYG editor (#3).

#5 - if you right-click on the post # at the upper right corner of a post and select "copy shortcut" you can then paste the url to the actual post directly into your post.

Thanks for telling me about the preview pane. I still prefer MS Word's WYSIWYG.
I was complaining about that link - it gave me the board and not the actual post. Maybe it's been changed already.
It would be nice to have a choice if fonts like we used to. I found Verdana did not have a good לשון הקודש font, actually this one is בסדר.

is there anyway to make a iphone version of the forum ?
i know it works on iphone and all other devices but its not designed to be used on such a small screen. allot of websites (try gmail for example) have two options: 'web version' and 'mobile version', when u log in from a small device it automatically goes to a mobile version. anyone know what im talking about? any chance we could do something like that?

i just searched on google, there is loads of stuff about it, just for example mashable.com/2010/12/16/create-mobile-site-tools/

How to access the old forum? While it's true that plain www.guardyoureyes.org/forum redirects to the new forum, however, if you add anything to the URL it won't redirect. We did that so we can still access posts on the old forum with direct links (since we do plan on removing some of the outdated boards on the new forum). So if you put in www.guardyoureyes.org/forum/? for example, you can still access the old forum.

Thanks. I got that far but I can only see the inbox not the sent items. When I click on sent items it says "you do not have permission to send".

Re: mobile. I'm using it right now on my iPhone. (4s with iOS 6.01 and K9 browser. ) it's kind of teeny but it works. It does crash the browser occasionally, I think when I try to zoom the page before its fully loaded. Also the chat bar shows up on the bottom but it always shows 0 users.

The chat bar, ever so conveniently placed on the bottom of every page, has an annoying tendency to pop up with my most recent (private) chat box (I haven't chatted in the rooms yet, so I don't know if this is a problem there as well). This is even after the chat has been closed for a while, even after the box was closed with the little x in the corner, and even if the other party has been offline for a bit!
