Actually, all Walt Disneys stories are sinister and filled with evil. What can we expect from an anti-semetic?

Winnie-the-Pooh now, is pure innocent sweetness

umm...,
isn't Pooh Bear a Disney creation as well?

Personally, I loved Enid Blyton's Faraway Tree.

Every day the tree had a different magical land on top. I loved escaping even back then

Ok this isnt a book

Lion King

Scar (bad guy) sets up a situation where his brother, the king, would be led to his death.
That indeed is what happens. And as Mufasa is hanging by the cliff about to fall to his death,he cries for his brother to save him.Scar grabs him and says "long live the king" and throws him to his death.
At that moment Mufasa realizes (albeit a bit too late) that scar is the one who set this whole thing up and he put his trust in the worst person(lion) possible.
Chevra this is us.
The yetzer puts us in a bad state, depressed, lonely, whatever.
Then he says come to me I will help you.
And he throws us off the cliff.
That **&^%*!!
We must understand that he set this whole situation up.
How ironic would it be to go to him for salvation?!!?
We must turn to those we know forsure that we can trust
Our friends at GYE,our accountability partners(everyones gotta have one at least),sponsors, and of course...HAKADOSH BORUCH HU!!
If only Mufasa would have cried out to Hashem, maybe hed still be with us today
...(lost in my own disney dreamworld).....
Love from the Disney...uh i mean...Holy Land

I have several questions (although I highly doubt the mechaber will answer any of them):

1. The reason Mufasa trusted Scar was because of his sense of family; sometimes that doesn't work out so well.
2. Scar wasn't all that bad; he didn't want revenge and he didn't display real hatred; he simply wanted Simba to take his rightful place on the throne.
3. Finally, what role do the hyenas play?
