just wanted to mention an extra oomph to the book- inspired by Habib:
we're princes/ princesses and we're even blessed with a royal GUARD!!!!!!!
I am proud of myself today because of who I am becoming with progress, not perfection
one day at a time
I am a pickle, and I'll never be a cucumber again. and pickles are YUM!

How about this one?
You heard of the world-famous book called "The fables of GYE"?
Well, Uri is the story's hero,
we are his loyal fans,
and the addiction is the yetzer Hara.

im afraid i never read that one guard
sorry

I was thinking of the little mermaid, and her song "under the sea".
i sometimes feel like i live in this bubble and i watch people going about their daily lives and im so jealous.
i just want the normal things in life.
To sing and dance and drop all my pain and anxieties.
To come home to a warm home.
To feel regular pain and happiness, not to extreme levels.
(a smile of hope)
maybe one day soon i shall indeed live and my dream shall come to be real

That Yetzer Harah

in the form of those 3 something or other that will huff and puff and blow your house down.

and sometimes the nice Grandma with those nice white teeth

and then he pulls on you the biggest lie of all.

that you can't ever put Humpty Dumpty back together again.

It seems like you can't

but with Teshuva you can.

the bridge to Hashem is safe and strong

not like that London bridge

why are some of these children's songs so depressing?

I used to check my cup to make sure that insee peeensi spider didn't go up that water spout into my water.

and when I told my mother I already studied for my test I use to check my nose.
