Ive noticed something very interesting about this whole idea. When you're "sober" the idea of looking at inappropriate images seems so illogical but when the brain's being flooded with dopamine, it just seems right to look at these things. I actually just joined today and was pleasantly surprised to find so many other people who have exactly the same feelings and emotions as me both before and after both aveiros. It is amazing that there is somewhere I am able to turn to help me when I'm feeling really annoyed at myself for falling to what seems afterwards like the easiest yetzer hara to beat. I've been considering speaking to a Rabbi for some time but could never bring myself to do it. What's also really interesting and worrying is how clever the yetzer hara is in turning something completely illogical into something which makes so much sense. The problem is it's not physical so I can't stick a knife through it and it doesn't give me a break and that's why I hate it. The problem is that it's too easy to find this stuff and it's embarrassing to go to my parents and ask them to please put a filter on my computer; it raises too many questions. I am therefore thankful to every single person who is involved in this website and who will hopefully help me to fight my yetzer hara because I want to grow and be close to Hashem and I find that this aveira in particular drags me down. The annoying thing is that no amount of mussar or kav hayashar which says that a malach called patos will rip out the eyes of a person who looks at inappropriate images chas veshalom, stops me going on the internet especially when I'm alone in the house. I have been advised that while still sane, it is very recommended to daven that you won't fall to the yetzer hara. Once again thank you for everything and I wish everyone a successful ellul with no inappropriate images.

Yep, I do it each tefila: praying that yetzer shouldnt catch me at least in this thing.

@Soldier: shkoach. you reminded me that i still owe 10 euro to tzedoko. so now its 12. But next time just say it, you dont have to fall cuz of it. ^.^
