there are tears running down my cheeks, and i actually sobbed.
It's so so hard to be alone. Almost everything you wrote has happened to me (in the girl version), and I always just felt guilty. I even avoided certain people who looked up to me just because i couldn't stand that they thought i was good.
I don't know how you do it, but your gift for putting feelings to song is incredible.

It was only several months ago
when I first met my mom.
Since then my life hasn't been the same,
a new day has come.

She is so wise and caring,
the very softest heart.
Her compassion knows no bounds
though she'll rip us apart.

Don't think she has it easy,
no, her life is quite hard.
But she'll give us all she has,
plus the extra yard.

Whenever I felt like falling
I'd reach out with a cry.
And she'd be right there smiling,
my son let's see you try.

Her inspiration and wisdom
have touched us all.
She'd be there to help us
when our backs were against the wall.

But one day she decided
to make the roughest choice.
She sadly informed us that for a while
we won't hear her voice.

Pandemonia struck
all the girls cried.
It really felt like
someone had just died.

But we all know
she's watching us real close.
She's still there to grab us
if she needs to, she will post.

And now our mom has reached
the beautiful 3 months.
90 days of fighting the yetzer
thats so rough.

Can't wait till she'll return again
there will be great joy.
And we'll shout "7UP is back!!"
Mommy has come home!!

I think it's safe to say that we can all identify with your neshama's voice that sings your songs.

About the song shame,
I feel that Hashem puts me here (as being very successful in everything but my addiction). To remind me that everything is from Him!
If not I would forget about Hashem completely and only focus about my succes and how I am the top of the world.
Hashem created this shame so we could want to come close to him and realise he is the one running the show completely!
