imagine an arm- top part, below the elbow, and then the hand.
this is the sukkah, the arm of Hashem, giving us a hug.

Standing at the bus stop this morning, it was cold, I wasn't in the mood to be out and about so early, didn't want to go to work - the usual Monday routine. Suddenly the sun burst out from behind the trees into one of the most incredible late-winter sunrises imaginable!

Mayan, love that you posted here and can't believe that his thread has been quiet for so long, though, my thread has also been quiet and I haven't been posting for some time.

I received a couple of hugs today and was thinking about how HKBH was clearly sending me a message and I was feeling gratitude and appreciation. It dawned on me that this is the place that I wanted to share and shout, "Hey, I got some HUGS!!"

I have been having some challenges lately that I'm not going to go into at the moment here and this morning I incidentally bumped into two different people who, no doubt, HKBH arranged for me to meet today (or maybe for them to meet me, or both, why am I so egocentric...). One of them offered a simple kindness that was not requested or expected and that fit my circumstances perfectly and having met the person without the kindness would have been a sufficient hug.

I was driving down a road at about midnight in NJ in an area that has white a few deer. I had decided to put on my brights at the start of my trip and as I'm hitting 40mph out comes a big deer buck with antlers and all right into the middle of the street. I didn't even notice him until BH BH BH he quickly made a u-turn about 10 ft from my car and ran back to where he came from.
