Hi Danny and Welcome, Baruch Habah.  So I see you figured out we care about each other, take what we're about here very seriously, and love to goof.  Love to know more about you, how you're finding the journey so far.

Welcome Danny.  18 years old and you've already found help for the problem.  Consider yourself very lucky.  How I wish there was a site like this when I was 18.  Hatzlacha Rabba and welcome aboard.
Help free Sholom Rubashkin by giving him the zechus of Shemiras Eiynayim.  www.guardyoureyes.org/forum/index.php?topic=2809.0

Danny,

Hi from one Londoner to another!! Welcome!

I feel privileged to post following from 1daat and ur-a-jew. Those guys are legends! Huge inspirational figures to me and I would get to know them and so many others here if I were you. Read their threads, their stories, understand their challenges and hopefully you will learn to beat this thing while you are still young. As Ur-a-jew says it's amazing that you have this sort of site available to you at this age. I started my addiction when I was alittle younger than you. To be honest I don't know if I would have even acknowledged I had a problem at your age, so Sh'koiach for recognising and knowing yourself and having the confidence to 'come out' (albeit anonymously) on here.

As others on here have said - use the site. Post lots, read lots and DO see if you can help others. From my relatively short experience I have found that helping others is a great tool for keeping it real for yourself as well. Helps to reinforce ideas in your own mind. There are also some really great tips on here about how to distract the Y"H - use them.

Perhaps you, me and Jamie should all go for a Shwarma and L'Chaim at Fernandez when you make it to 40 days. I'll buy (Bli Neder!), so neither of you need to worry about paying!

Anyway, once again welcome and drop by to say hi anytime.

Hi Danny.

Actually, Haleivi76 is the legend around here.  I encourage you to go read his thread.  Watch for his posts.  He'll speak to you.

Meantime, welcome.  I think it would be a good idea for there to be a board for bochrim.  There are a lot of guys about your age, in various Yeshivot, who are on this site.  You guys I think would get special chizuk from each other.  I'll send Guard a note about that.

post, read, you can do this.  For sure.
