I firstly agree with Geshmak, just Davening opens up the heavens and makes yeshuos, although we don't see them it is harder to believe, so we have to really believe it is helping. Second, in a more practical way of speaking, you probally don't see your friends on here, but for all you know they are, or have their own program on the side or even a book. You never know and that can be in effect from your tefilos for them. But yes, in case I would say we do have to figure out a way to publicize this and make it comfortable for people to discuss like we are in order to save themselves, they just need a warm outstretched hand towards them with sincere love and care that isn't looking to criticize them or jugde them in any fashion.

What do you mean with your post? Would you like to post some info of your struggle and receive guidance? Are you looking to speak or meet with someone? Are you looking for resources - therapy, articles, methods?

Wow gye is going strong bh!! I see we’re up to 14,024 so many new members it’s amazing! But I’m just wondering like what all you hundreds of new members do on this site … like I’m sure most of you do the f2f program which is not stam and also so many beautiful stuff to read and watch in the library… but I’m sure most of you or all check out this awesome forum. But I don’t see you guys posting on it… like come on! Can you all start posting abt yourself a little like what you struggle with and how you wish to get helped or what helped you the most… or what you wish can be a help etc. like  nobody knows who you are so you can type your heart out!! It’s so healthy you’ll feel great after  I promise ( besides the responses you’ll get) even if nobody will respond it still a healthy step to recovery it gets you out of your dark secret you won’t feel like its u and only u going through this and it makes you feel so much more part of the gye family… and you’ll see once u get your first post out it will be easier to post more and you can give and take so much chizuk!! So if your reading this and you haven’t posted your first post yet… please please please do it right NOW!! ( like what are you waiting for,hu?!?!)Just open a new thread and introduce yourself doesn’t have to be major you can just write around your age (I’m in my twenties etc.) and your type ( kollel, working, bucher, etc) and you can say when you started or what your biggest struggles are ( porn , chat lines, or just plan can’t stop being mzl, etc) and you can just say I wish to stop or I did this to stop or I’m working on this mehalich to stop etc.

Today was an awesome day for gye bh!! A bunch new chavrah posted their first post… AH!! First let me thank all you new members that had the courage to post ( I know it wasn’t easy but it is well worth it,you’ll see) so if any of you are reading this please pat yourself on the back! Like I’m sure the people working at gye see the progress like how many do the f2f program and how many guys reach 90 days, I wish I would know too. Nu nu, I guess you don’t always get what you want.

I think that if the people who founded and run this place would get a phone call from the people who were helped by this place, it would be such a chizuk for them to hear firsthand of the impact they made/are making on so many people. So for those of us who are brave enough, I would suggest maybe calling them up and telling them, a little bit of how you grateful you are to be on GYE. A word of encouragement goes a long way
