When we spend tooooooooooo much time using our heads, thinking about this s'fora, and that s' fora, the big menuval is running, taking advantage of this and gaining ground. And, may I suggest that this is the reason many of us are learning Emunah P'shuta from the goyim's 12 steps groups. In fact I saw in the sefer Tahros Hakodesh, that when one is in the bathroom, and they are hit with hirhurim, they are permitted to think in learning. Yes, he points out that these hirhurim are so dangerous, and can completely destroy us, that what....even in the bathroom, (the cesspool) it is MUTAR to think Torah!!!! Don't think that you are (in this case) a tzaddik by refaining from doing so. We must do what ever it takes. At one time something is Assur, and then at another time, it is mutar. This is our battle.
