I found myself in level #3 of the nutshell, yet I joined the 12-Step phone groups and gained so much from them. I am not sure if it is necessary to save the phone groups (Duvid Chaim's in particular) for that late in the game. From my experience, I think it's all about a spiritual connection that we are missing, and the 12 steps are a great way to find that.
